Kangou-jinjya Shrine (Rin-jinjya Shrine)

Kangou Shrine was built in the first year of Emperor Suiko (593) by imperial order to Omiwa no Kimi Shiratsutsumi (Omiwa no Kimi Shiratsutsumi), and then in the first year of Yoro (717), Fujiwara no Fuhito was appointed as Omi no Takamiko. and Sukunahikona no Mikoto were enshrined together. In the old days, it was called Kasugasa Kawasakaokasha. Within the precincts is Hayashi Shrine, which is dedicated to Rinjoin, who came from China at the beginning of the Muromachi period and was the first to introduce manju to Japan.
