The Sugawara Higashi Ruins Haniwa Kiln Site Group is the site of a kiln where clay clay pots were fired during the Kofun period approximately 1,500 years ago, and was unearthed through excavations. Sugawara Haniwa Kiln Park was developed to preserve and display these ruins to the public. The land of ``Sugawara'' was the residence of the Haji clan, who were involved in the construction of ancient tombs, and it is believed that clay clay was created by the Haji clan. The excavated clay kiln is on display in the park, and there are also replicas of horse-shaped clay made from the excavated clay.
