Uguisuzuka Tumulus

A keyhole-shaped tumulus with a total length of 103 meters built on the top of Mt. Wakakusa (342 meters above sea level), which is famous for its mountain yaki pottery. This is also said to be the place where Uguiryo, which appears in "The Pillow Book(Makura no Sōshi)," is located, and there is a stone monument of "Uguisuryo" in the back circle. From the burial mound, which is covered in grass, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Nara Basin.
