Tomi-jinja Shrine

As a formal shrine, it enshrines the 22 pillars of Tenjin and Jigin, and is called Kijima Daimyojin. Congee fortune-telling on February 1st is a traditional event designated as an intangible cultural property of Nara City. It is also famous for the Oyu Shinto ritual held during the planting ceremony and fertility prayer festival. In April 2020, the main shrine, worship hall, shrine, shrine, and shrine buildings were registered as registered tangible cultural properties. (Photo provided by Toya Shrine)

Porridge fortune-telling (Tsutsukayu Festival/Tsutsukayu Festival): February 1st

Access & Bus Stop Immediately west of Nara Prefectural General Medical Center. From Kintetsu Koriyama Station, take the bus bound for Wakakusadai and get off at Konoshima.
