Oharidano Yasumaro Tomb

This is the tomb of Oharida no Yasumanso, a bureaucrat from the Nara period, and is a national historic site. It was discovered in 1902 and excavated in 1951, and it was confirmed that it was a cremation tomb, which was rare at the time. The epitaph found in the grave reads, ``Ukyo Sanjo Nibo Jushii Shimo Oharida Asomi Yasumanso Daiwakuni Yamabe District Miyago District Rigoan Tomb Jinki 6th year (729) Saiji Kimi February 9th'' There was an inscription. Other unearthed items include silver Wado Kaichin, Sue ware, and Haji ware.
